If you were to ask yourself how much you really know about Jumu’ah, its history, the virtues and rewards the day holds, or if you have ever taken the time to prepare for the day, what would you say? Islamic Help is proud to present Yawm al Jumu’ah by Shaykh Dr. Abu Ibrahim, a webinar dedicated to teaching us the importance, the virtues, and how to prepare for the most important day of the week; The Day of Jumu’ah. The Day of Jumu’ah is so significant, so virtuous for Muslims that Allah ﷻ has dedicated a whole chapter in the Noble Qur’an; “O you who believe! When the call is proclaimed for Jummah (Friday prayer), come fast to the remembrance of Allah” (Quran, 62: 9). We should not let the Day of Jumu’ah go by without having reaped every ounce of blessings possible. Fridays are an opportunity for us to do many good deeds and attain many rewards. The Teacher

Shaykh Dr. Abu Ibrahim has a Ph.D. in law, specialising in Islamic Family Law. He also has a Masters in Islamic studies and has completed his Alim course. He has written academic papers published by both Cambridge and Oxford Universities. He currently sits as an Islamic advisor on the board of a Sharia Council dealing with issues related to Islamic marriage and divorce. He is an imam and khateeb, and regularly conducts nikahs. He is also an Islamic marriage counsellor providing individual, relationship, and family counselling.
