Join us for a stunning sunrise at the peak of the highest mountain in England and Wales.
Mount Snowdon is a visual spectacle at any time of the day. It’s even more stunning at sunrise when – weather permitting – the dawn light reveals the vista of mountain landscapes and valleys below it.
It’s the destination for a group of our volunteers who are taking on the Snowdon at Sunrise challenge to raise funds for a deployment to help Syrian and Palestinian refugees in Jordan.
Already deprived of many basic services because of their refugee status, these communities desperately require as much assistance as possible to help them overcome their struggles.
Funds raised from the Snowdon at Sunrise trek will go towards the 2020 Mission Possible deployment for Jordan. The 10-day deployment will involve the Mission Possible team visiting a specific village, establishing what’s needed and providing aid which will include provision of clean water, animals for food and livestock businesses, and renovation of schools and hospitals.
The Snowdon at Sunrise trek takes place on 27 December 2019, with participants leaving at 2am from the Islamic Help offices at 19 Ombersley Road, Birmingham B12 8UR.
