The Ka’ba, its located at the centre of the Great Masjid in Makkah and is considered by all Muslims everywhere in the world to be the most sacred spot on Earth. Every year millions of Muslims make the ultimate pilgrimage to Makkah to do Tawaaf (circumambulation) around the Ka’ba seeking Allah’s forgiveness, His favours and His pleasure. For those who have not yet seen the Ka’ba, it remains one of the highest aspiration of their lives. But what do we really know about the Ka’ba, its history, why it is there and the role plays in every Muslims life.

Dr. Hafiz Ather is a published author and holds multiple degrees from 3 different continents and has heavily contributed to the translation of significant Islamic works.
